Coveside Stables hosts the annual Coveside Classic Hunter-Jumper Competition. 2019 marks the 11th Classic. We enter our second decade with just as much excitement as we did the first. The 2019 Coveside Classic takes place August 21 to 25, 2019. Featuring five days of great competition in a friendly atmosphere, the 2019 Classic will feature the $5,000 Dexter Construction Hunter Classic, a $5,000 Hunter Classic, exciting Team Hunter events, and many other feature classes sure to challenge and delight our competitors. We’ll have some new events to kick off the second decade! The Classic is the largest equestrian competition in the Atlantic provinces, and is the highlight of the competition season.

Coveside Stables in conveniently located on the outskirts of the beautiful seaside Village of Chester, Nova Scotia. Take exit 8 on Highway 103, approximately 45 minutes from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Approaching from Halifax, turn left at the exit towards Chester. At the stop sign, turn left onto Highway 3, and then take the first right onto Haddon Hill Road. Please follows signs and attendants regarding trailer and spectator parking.
